The show

Jake and Daniel

A monthly construction podcast hosted by Jake Gorry, Director of Proline Group, and Daniel Alizzi of Complex Facade Install.

Host / Director, Proline Group

Jake Gorry

Jake Gorry started on the tools as a teenager working with his dad. He built Proline from small residential cladding jobs into a multi-division contractor that designs, fabricates and installs architectural metal cladding and facade systems.

Proline is based in Williamstown North and now runs metal cladding, facades and an in-house fabrication shop. Public projects include Sunshine Hospital with Lendlease, Albert Fields and other work with Mirvac, Botanica with HACER, MLC Aquatic with Kapitol, the CFMEU building, and cladding packages on hospital and data-centre work.

In March 2026 he sat down with Jimmy Talks Construction and walked through cash flow, hiring mates, delivering bad news early, and the jump from the tools to running multiple sites.

Host / Operations Manager, Complex Facade Install

Daniel Alizzi

Daniel Alizzi came up through the trade and now runs operations at Complex Facade Install. If you look at a tower and see glass and aluminium, that is the work.

Complex has been on Australia 108, the tallest residential tower in the Southern Hemisphere, and delivered the glazed facade for 55 Southbank Boulevard, a mass-timber hotel extension.

On Jimmy Talks Construction he talked about growing up around the business and keeping culture when the crew is no longer ten people.
